any graphics card can provide what you need but the higher end ones give you more options

for example i have a evga 6800 video card

it has dvi rgb and svideo anyone of these three can go to tv

then you use the nvidia control panel to configure to the correct ratio for your tv and the method you use

rgb or dvi give you more options because they are more advanced

svideo is limited to 480i and when you blow that up to 72 its not going to look good

u better with a desktop

just buy a desktop and then either get an advanced graphics card included or add it

laptops while good are not configurable once you buy them graphics card wise

theres different resolutions for viewing im not sure what your tv can support

get a pci express compatible board and graphics card

maybe take your tv manual to best buy and have them show you your options as they can install the card for you and it be ready to plug in when you get home so you dont have to worry about it.

plenty of sales at moment so it should not cost you much

as for keyboard/mouse -- i use bluetooth di-nuovo from logitech works well but some people prefer the air mouse thing. again explain the distance and see what they have at the store.

goodluck it will not be a problem to get what you want.

Very easy to do these days, it should practicly hook itself up for you, no lie..

Look around, alot of times you can get an all in one package at a good price, especially at this time of the year.

72inch big screen??? that's a big ASS Tv.... never seen it that big... but yeah.... if you have DVI or HDMI, it should be easy... the cable maybe a little more expensive....

It should be awesome if you do your computing stuff with that big monitor......
